Turning 18?!?! | Shann0nRenae

Hey guys,

I can't believe it's finally come to the day I turn 18 ??? What !! Tbh, it's crazy that I made it here! I feel super old..

Let me apologise firstly for the lack of posts... This seems to be a routine in every one of my posts now. It's just crazy at the moment with exams, BUT I have all of next week off meaning I will be able to write a few posts and get in front for the next couple of weeks.

It was quite weird going to school on my birthday, as mine is always in the school holidays. I had an English Mock this morning for school. It went alright, my hand is slightly still numb and I had to repeat a whole essay because I read the question but it's done. I am now I am taking a well deserved break on my birthday and procrastinating studying for my Human Bio Mock exam that is tommorrow. So I can't even go out!! Not Fair!

Continuing on with how old I feel, one of my second cousin's is 8 today! He is the most gorgeous boy and I'm so happy I get to share this day with him!!

I am still waiting patiently for my presents as mum has been in Broome the past week so she hasn't had time to go get any, so she has had to go today. Dad has absolutely spoiled me and gave me my presents last week because he lives us in Toodyay. I'm sure I could do a "What I got for My Birthday" post later this week..

Excuse my choice of outfit today, I really just couldn't wear something nice because today I'm all about that comfort vibe.

Before you ask, I am going out on Saturday night to the Atrium at the Crown with my mum's family and a few close friends. And then my friends and I are going out clubbing afterwards YEOW !!!

I'm super excited for the new experiences and I can't wait, (except the fact that I'm just going to have more responsibilities )

2. What is your favourite subject in school?

Probablyyyy, PE Studies.

3. What's your favourite drink?

Pepsi Max is my favourite but, I also have coffees like all the time.

4. What is your favourite song at the moment?

"What Do You Mean" - Justin Bieber.

5. What would you name your children?

Hmmm, I like the name Chanel, Gigi or Kelly for a girl and for a boy probably Zac or Ethan.

6. Do you participate in any sports?

YASSS, literally most sports except I'm not the best at land ones because I am a swimmer.

7. What's your favourite book?

"Looking For Alaska" - John Green. Check it out if you haven't, it's amazing!

8. What's your favourite colour?

I love white but if you classify that as a 'shade' then blue.

9. What's your favourite animal?

DOGS.

10. Favourite perfume?

I love anything sweet really. Selena Gomez's one is my favourite but other than that scents like Justin Bieber's or Anna Sui orrr Katy Perry's Meow or any Calvin Klein ones or Chanel ones.

11. Favourite holiday?

Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

12. Have you graduated from high school?

Nope, I'm about to though!

13. Have you been out of the country?

Yes I have - I've been to Phuket, Kuala Lumpar and Hong Kong.

14. Do you speak any other languages?

Nope. I did like 7 years of japanese in through my whole schooling life, but I don't remember a thing.

I have a brother - Ryan.

UHHH, ASOS, Stelly Clothing, MissGuided and Princess Polly.

I love anything that's chinese, yes please..

Not really, I've been keen to graduate ever since I can remember.

Rahnee Bransby, Niki and Gabi, Zoella, Shani Grimmond, Chloe Szep and Kathleen Lights.

ohhh, I always struggle with this question. My absolute favourite is Monster's Inc.

Keeping up With the Kardashians, The Carrie Diaries, The Bachelor, Orange is the New Black, I am Cait.

Macs over everything.

Gold Iphone 6.

Quite short for my age. 5"3

I have 2 Jack Russell's. A girl called Moya (left) and a boy called Kei (Right).

Toodyay | Lifestyle Post

Welcome Back!

Firstly let me apologise as I had many planned blog posts to write but having limited internet and no reception hasn't allowed me to be able to get on top of that. This is also not a normal post for me to blog but I hope it's okay for you all.

Secondly, let me tell you where I am.  I am in Toodyay, which is about an hour and a half out of Perth. My dad (yes, my parents are divorced) owns a property out here, and for the past 2 years has been building a house. Early this year it was finally done and therefore, where we are now. The picture to the left is the view we see from every window in the house, except it's pictured from a car. We are located on the top of a small hill and it gets really chilly here, specially during the nights in Winter.

The trip up here from Perth seems super long just because it seems like red dirt and trees all the way along. So most times I end up plugging in my earphones and zoning out or sleeping ahah.

 My brother and I are here for 9 days and today marks the 8th. So, tommorrow we head back to Perth, back to the city life. (By the time you read this I will be back) For those who would like to know, it's in the agreement of the divorce that I see my dad once every three weekends and for half of the school holidays. (My mother is also away in Broome in the warm weather, hence another reason we're down here)

I have completed one out of my two assignments for school, which I am very pleased about as I seem to get a lot of school homework done while I'm up here.


 We picked up my two dogs on Wednesday afternoon to allow them to travel up here. Moya (black and white) hates car trips and was shaking the whole way up here so trying to calm her down was eventful, whilst Kei (brown and white) was loving every minute of being in that car with his head out of the window. We picked them up as 8 nights being outside in the freezing cold at my mums house is rough so being here with a warm heater and inside at night made them much happier.

The only problem is at my dads house there is no doggy door, so we've had to be waking up every couple of hours during the night to make sure theres no accidents, like the first night.







All in all, it's been pretty great being up at my dad's, it's a nice change of scenery (kind of like a mini holiday almost). But I am very keen to get back to the city life. Also, my room up here is also so lovely , like really really really nice, so if you'd like to see a bedroom post please let me know!!
