TREND ALERT: Neckties & Chokers | Shann0nRenae X TajaAus

Hello beauties!!

I've been wanting to touch on the latest choker and necktie trend but, I haven't had any time to get around to it!! SO, in collaboration with TajaAus, I am proud to bring you this post.

Before we get straight into it, I would love to tell you all about a new little series called "TREND ALERT" that will be running on my blog. It will be featuring fashion and beauty trends, how I find them and whether they are worth the money. ▹ If you have any recommendations on what you would love to see in this series please leave a comment below!

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

I swear everyone and their mother have been wearing chokers and neckties recently, and it has become a huge trend in fashion.

Recently, Perth girls created the brand @TajaAus where they started their own necktie and choker brand.

I love TajaAus because, their chokers and neckties are super affordable, they are handmade, Australian owned and are unique. The other bonus with TajaAus is that the neck ties and chokers are almost customisable, with ranging colours and options of the detailing in silver/gold, making it super easy for you to purchase exactly what you want.

I have pictures below of the neckties and chokers that I was lucky to get my hands on. And right at the bottom of this post I will list each products link.

I love these chokers and neckties and have been wearing them so much. They are so comfy and at the price they are listed as, definitely a must have fashion statement.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post
I am working on a YouTube video on how to feature chokers and neckties in an outfit lookbook.

Much Love,
Shannon xx

Sexy Summery Lingerie Look & Essentials | Shann0nRenae x Adore Me

Hello all and welcome back to my blog,

I was recently contacted by Adore Me to put my spin on a Sexy Summer Lingerie Look and take part in their latest project #sexysummerylingerie. It got me thinking about what makes me feel sexy and confident in the Summertime. So, I decided to also add in some essentials that would match perfectly to this look.

As we are in the complete opposite to Summer in Australia, I found it pretty hard to recollect what summery look I should go for… For this look, I decided base it around the Lavender Purple colour of this bra. For me personally, I’m not too keen on much colour. Hence why especially in summer this was a good decision as it can be worn under any coloured clothes to make you have an extra boost of confidence.

For me feeling sexy, is looking classy. I love any lace on bras and I feel that lace just adds a sense of sexiness and classiness to a bra too. This bra is quite cute with polka dots which makes the bra feel more stylish, as who doesn’t love a few polka dots?? Also head to this page to check out Adore Me'sBras and Panties page.

I love the idea of pearls, sparkles, heels, makeup and a nice fresh scent to keep me feeling good. Wearing these things boost my self esteem immediately and make me feel super elegant.

Head over and follow Adore Me's Pinterest to stay up to date with new content and for you guys to gain more inspiration!!

Pumps are my favourite style of heel to ever wear. I wore these silver ones from Zu, last year to my ball and I am forever trying to find another special occasion to wear them. I love the glitz and classy feel to these and they made me feel super sexy that night. Whenever I need to wear any sort of heel in the Summertime, these are always my go-to style.

I looooveee pearls!! Pearls can enhance and chic-up any outfit. I love wearing pearls within the summertime because they are white, light weight and go with any outfit.

Makeup is one of my most favourite things in the world. I live for it. And I obviously couldn’t do a flat lay without a piece of makeup in it!! It makes me so much more confident! I decided to add this Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara because it is waterproof and super duper long lasting (believe me). Obviously mostly in Summer you need/want waterproof mascara because it’s super hot and you’ll either be sweating or jumping in the pool later. So therefore, it’s and essential.

Scents are the most important thing to me in Summer. I want to be smelling good all the time (especially in Summer) and so, I had to include one of my most recent purchases, Gucci Guilty. I feel like this scent is quite mature and different to all the sweeter scents I usually lean towards. Usually in Summer, I am wearing sweet and fruity scents but if I want to feel sexy, I will lean towards a more mature scent like this one.

Last thing, is a notebook. In Summer especially, I feel way more active and I am always coming up with heaps of ideas. I am always carrying a notebook in my bags because I will think of things in the most random moments aha. I love this one because I need to have a little sparkle somewhere to make me feel sexy and confident.

So there you have it, my #sexysummerylingerie and essentials. I hope this helped a few of you to embrace your inner sexiness.

And leave me a comment below telling me what your summer essentials or, lingerie picks would be!

I hope you enjoyed this blog :)

Much Love,
Shannon xx

Winter 'Bit Of Black' Collection | 6 Outfit Ideas ☆

Hello everyone!! And welcome back to my blog!!

I haven't been as active as I should've been lately, but uni is getting crazy. I've nearly finished my bridging course so, it is getting a lil hectic at the moment. But I'll be back in no time with more blog posts!!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

It's getting closer to winter in Australia and it's starting to get super cold! So I decided to make a few outfits for you guys to get inspiration from. For these outfits, I HAD to incorporate the colour black because, I'm always leaning towards this colour in winter. I also figured that most people would be able to wear black.

I love how these outfits turned out, and I can definitely see myself wearing every single one of them. I also tried to make sure that I got an outfit for most occasions (or at the least the most common occasions) that we find ourselves in during winter. The clothing pieces are also really simple so you guys can customise the outfit to your own style.

Business Chic

I love this monochrome outfit. I feel like this is such a 'cool' outfit to wear anywhere. It can be suited to most occasions.

If you wanted to you could even add a pop of colour by, changing the white shirt to a brighter colour. Or swapping the leather jacket to a denim jacket.

I love the effect of the leather, it makes the outfit look so much more edgier.

So simple yet so cool.

Night Out

I saw these boots and instantly thought of Pia Mia. She is always wearing boots like these and I was finally able to get my own black pair of these!! (Which I love!)

I love the Maroon Red with the Black jumper. I think this is such a cool outfit for a night out or a business meeting or something like that.

It's super modern but also really simple and classy.

Cosy Night-In

Uhmmmm, YES! This is possibly the most go-to outfit for winter. (At least for me).

The bra though. So nice. And I need to get my hands on it ASAP!!

I love my nike sweat pants, they are super similar to the ones in this outfit. And they are so comfy and I'm always wearing them as actual pants. No-one ever knows because they look so great on (they look like you're purposely wearing track pants). I even made my boyfriend get his own pair and he freaking loves them and wears them constantly.

And obviously the makeup wipes, hot drink and lush bath bomb are a must for the winter season.

I love this. Especially to get nice and cosy and watch a movie.

Festival Spirit

This is for all my festival fairies.

I avoid most festivals in winter. But I know there are a lot of you that still love the festival trend throughout all seasons!!

This playsuit I couldn't help myself. I love how it has the neck tie incorporated into the playsuit. Like heck yes!!

Denim jackets are always a must. Boots, well they're perfect for all seasons but winter especially. And I need to get some flat boots. I literally own so many heeled boots and I have no boots to wear on a day-to-day basis.

And I just added the black bag because it looks super festivally.

Classy Tea

I love this. I love coats in the winter. Yet I don't own any. I think they just pull together any outfit and make them outfit fitted for winter. Plus they keep you warm!

I love this all black look. A look like this is always classy for a dinner, lunch, drinks with the girls. Any night event really.

Forever adding boots because they keep your feet warm in winter.  And these are just too pretty.

LOVE.

Vogue Funky ☆

Uh-huh honey. I am living for this tan colour right now. Omg.

Again, the coats are super warm and look amazing on!!

This dress looks super thick too, as it looks like it is made from that thick ribbed material. Which is super on-trend and comfy.

These boots though. I saw some of these on an Instagram page and I need some. For this, you could even add tights if you needed.

I want everything in this outfit.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this post.

☀︎ 12 Coachella/Festival Outfit Inspirations ☀︎

Hello all and welcome back!!

I know I haven't posted in a while but I have been busy with university and sorting out a few projects that will be coming soon ☀︎ Yay ☀︎  Anyways, I have decided to do a post on a few outfits that could be worn to festivals, as it is coming up to that season. I have a festival coming up in the next 2 weeks and I thought that this would be a perfect time to post this! I hope you all enjoy!!

1. Pastel Princess

I think there's always a few girls who go this route. This is such a girly outfit! Definitely a stand out outfit from the rest of the crowd.

The clothes are super simple so you would most likely to find these things in your closet, and mix and match to your own desire!!

And it creates such a pretty mix of colours.

2. Fringed Flutter

This is Gigi Hadid inspired from her 2015 Coachella outfit. Instead of the black underneath I went for the white and denim shorts just so it would be a bit more softer and more wearable.

I love this outfit because it is so simple and comfy yet, it looks like a lot of effort has been put into it!

3. Layers Of The Earth

For this outfit, I wanted to do something a bit more different. I wanted more warmer colours but something that was a LOT out of my comfort zone.

I think this outfit turned out so well and many people would go for this type of outfit for larger festivals.

I love how many layers are to this outfit and which makes it a bit more interesting!

4. Floral Serenity

This is inspired by Vanessa Hudgens Coachella look this year (2016). I love this because rompers make you look like you have put so much effort into your outfit when you haven't really. I love the pattern on this one and I think it would be a gorgeous contrast while your out and about in the festival.

Did I mention rompers are super comfy?!

5. All Blk Beats

I know there are a load of girls, who are like me, and usually stick to some sort of black in outfits. So why not make the whole outfit black??

I think this outfit brings such an edgy vibe rather than your typical festival outfit. But this outfit also brings statement festival pieces like the wide brimmed hat, fringed bag, laced skirt and sandals.

Total go-er.

6. B-O-O-T-S

I really wanted to incorporate some long black knee high boots into an outfit. Boots are always a staple piece at festivals, but I mainly wanted to make the boots stand out.

I love the contrast between the blue denim playsuit and the black accessories, sticking to minimal colours is always a good idea if you're unsure what to wear.

7. Bright Boho

Recently I have been living for the label Camilla. Oml, it is so beautiful and every time I see a piece from them, it screams summer.

I love this body suit, it is so bright and colourful but also a little risky with the low cut front. I think paring this with a dark denim skirt or shorts would be a pretty combo for the festival season.

And here, I've just added a few pieces of jewellery to spice it up a bit.
8. 70's Fiesta

This is one of the first outfits I put together!! And yes. I'm in love. I love the whole vibe this outfit is portraying.

This would be such a perfect comfy outfit for the day at a festival. I love the patterns in the pants and clutch bag.

I wish I could rock this!!

9. Wanderlust Wanderer

I love this lilac colour. Actually I love this outfit too! I love the simple but not - to - overboard lilac colour mixed with the black.

I was actually going to include a patterned purple skirt but I loved how the top and skirt contrasted each other.

I love how this outfit is so simple but it is such a pretty outfit.

And the shoes, I literally want in my closet ASAP!!

10. Cold Hard Tunes

This for those rainy festival days. I wanted to include a more sporty look with a larger jacket into one of these outfits.

I think the pale blue jacket is an amazing combination with the black. The jacket is of course optional but I know there are a few festivals that there's been rain or it has been freezing cold so, there is always an option like this!!

11. Festival Fairy

I love this outfit. We all have that one friend at festivals who wears the most basic outfit and glitters themselves up with glitter and sparkles and flash tattoos!!  I love how simple but elegant this is and all the items are super re-wearable.

I also added a few hair bands to add into the sachet because how many times have people forgotten hair bands?! And also, because fairies give things people need.

12. Conservative Coachella

This is my personal favourite and that is why it has been left until last. It has everything in it that I would associate with festivals, the fringe, the lace, and boots.  I think this would be super wearable and its such a statement outfit.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

P.S. One day I will build up the confidence and money to wear and buy this groovy outfit.

Thank you all so much for reading, and I hope you were able to find a few outfit inspirations on here!!

5 Easy Easter Outfits ✿ | Shann0nRenae

If you're lacking inspiration for easter outfits then you're in the right place!

Hello again! I decided to do an Easter Outfit Inspiration post because you all loved the Valentine's Day Outfit post so much!

 ✿ FUNNY BUNNY

This is such a simple outfit but it looks so put together. This is definitely something you'd find me in this Easter. If you know me I love block colours, because they are so easy to re-create different looks.

I love the jumper and jeans together just due to the look of simplicity with them together.

I added these sandals because they are such a huge trend at the moment and I wanted to go for a more casual look. As Easter is in Spring in Australia, I thought these shoes would be the way to go!

The watch just adds a bit of wow to the outfit! As, it is quite a statement piece.

And of course, you cannot forget your phone!

SUNNY BUNNY

This outfit would be perfect for church on Easter Sunday! As, it's not too revealing.

Focusing on the pastel blue skirt which is a bit asymmetrical, I thought this was such a fun look!

The high neck shirt is amazing! And these shirts are so comfy and classy I promise!

You could change the skirt to any colour for length you want. And obviously if you're not into wearing heels there's always the option of sandals.

As this is quite a dressy look I added a nice Cartier bracelet, that could be any bracelet you'd like. And by adding the clutch you a ready for the Easter event you're going to!

PLAY BOY BUNNY

This is for the girls who don't want to be dressed up or too dressed down.

As Easter is all about the pastels, I of course had to add a girly outfit with the pastel pink colour.

The white top perfectly compliments the skirt but if the top is too revealing you could always go with a less revealing top (as this is just an outfit inspiration guide).

The skirt is more of a pink/purple pastel and with this straight cut it makes the look a little bit more flirty.

I love the shoes. I think the co-ordinate so well with the top and really make the focus the pastel skirt.

Around it, I just added a few fun things you would use before and maybe even using the ears to make your outfit a little more fun!
This look would be perfect for seeing your boyfriend, maybe later on in the afternoon.

BEACH BUNNY

If you live in a country where it will be a bit hotter around Easter I think this is perfect. This is also perfect for an Easter beach day!

I love wearing white just because it looks clean and it will make any colour you're wearing stand out more! Hence, why I went with white to make the light washed denim blue shorts stand out.

This is also such a comfy outfit. Vans are definitely my go-to shoes for comfort, and they look effortlessly cool.

And around it I again just added a few things like lip balm to moisturise, lush bath bomb for after the beach and these pretty tulips because why not!

HONEY BUNNY

This is another outfit that is quite dressy. For some reason I went for this almost camel colour just to mix things up a lil bit!

This would be such a cool outfit for Easter! As it isn't revealing, and it looks so fashionable.

I mixed white and camel colour in the whole outfit! I love the look of the velvet top and I wanted that to be the main focus so I added the white knee-length skirt to make it super classy.

The shoes you could wear would be heels or sandals, depending on your preference or what you're doing that day. I went for these nude and white ones just to stick with the theme.

I obviously just added chocolate - because it's Easter duh! And some more cool accessories you could throw on too!

✿ So, what was your favourite outfit?? ✿

Thanks for reading! Hope to see you again soon!

Much Love,
Shannon xxx

Monochrome & Denim | Shann0nrenae

Hello Again!!
I'm so sorry for not posting but I have been focusing one final exams , only 2 left!!
I decided to make this post as everyone has black, white, grey and denim in their wardrobe and it is so easy to recreate and add your own style to it. These types of clothes are the main things I would wear as I am always sticking to my comfort zone, but they are so universal and can be worn everyday. This is also a kind of Summer outfits guide as it is Summer in Australia at the moment so hopefully this can help some of you!

Also, thank you to my friend Taylor for using me in her assignment and getting some awesome pictures!!

Sporty Chic:
To be honest, this outfit was thrown together. As I said before my friend Taylor and I were on limited time so this outfit was the last, and after stressing on what other clothes we could use once for this assignment we choose the ones we hadn't used and just put them together to create this look.

It is a look you can wear casually or dressy by adding the right shoes. In my case we were going more casual so these shoes we perfect, but you could also wear sneakers. I think that would look quite cool too.

What I wore:
Sunglasses: Rubi Shoes

Top: Cotton On

Skirt: Sportsgirl

Sandals: Kmart

This outfit is perfect for running errands or attending major events (add heels.)

Festival Cowgirl:
I love this look for an outdoors festival, like Stereosonic, South Bound etc. I always stay in my comfort zone for festival fashion. So this look is kind of a way to stay basic and look like you're meant to be at the festival.

What I wore:
Sunglassses: Rubi Shoes

Top: Cotton On

Belt: Princess Polly

Skirt: (Taylor's) but these A-line skirts can be found anywhere

Shoes: Vans Old School

I love how this outfit can be dressed to suit your own style. You can add anything to the outfit like, swapping types of sunglasses, adding a flower crown instead of sunglasses, adding a kimono or boots. I also love how going for a lighter denim wash skirt almost softens the outfit.

It's a blank-canvas-kind-of-outfit that you can use casually or for going to events if you're not brave enough to dress up.

Clean:
This outfit is casual and it would be so good to recreate to go out with friends or see a movie, it's really universal. I love love love white denim skirt and I love how the black converse tie the whole look together. It's really basic and would be super easy to recreate with plenty of different colours.

What I wore:
Sunglasses: Rubi Shoes

Top: Miss Shop (Myer)

Skirt: White Fox Boutique

Shoes:
Converse

Not Black Enough:
This is also another outfit that can be worn casually for a day-to-day basis. I had to use a really dressy dress and I'd recommend something a bit more comfy or even a full black outfit.

What I wore:
Sunglasses: Rubi Shoes

Dress: Pink Stitch

Jacket: Factorie

Shoes: Kmart

I think this looks like a really cool outfit and looks like you put no effort in.

I hope the four outfits I put together help some of you, and I'll see you next time.
Also, make sure you check out my instagram : @shann0nrenae

Much Love,

Shannon xx
