Beach Essentials ☼ | Shann0nRenae X Tripping.com


Hi everyone! Long time no blog!

For this blog, I got the opportunity to team up with Tripping.com. Tripping.com is a super awesome site which helps you to find cheap holiday rentals in places like Florida. Recently I've been dying to go on a holiday, and seeing this site made me realise that they can save you so much cash, which can be used for spending money 😉. 

Tripping.com got me thinking what my essentials are to bring to the beach or on a tropical holiday. 


1. Sunscreen / Tanning Lotion
The amount of times that I have gotten extremely sunburnt at the beach is getting to be ridiculous. I never forget it now. Please make sure that you pack sunscreen or tanning lotion as, I can't stress enough how much you will be in pain for the next few weeks and, of course we want to avoid skin cancers. I usually use SPF 50+ just to be that extra bit covered and tend to lean towards waterproof sunscreen. Stay safe! 

2. Some Cute Bathers
Of course after the health and skin safety, I go straight towards what cute bathers I should wear. My go-to is from Seafolly Australia which you can see to the left on Gigi Hadid. Obsessed.

3. Book
A book is necessary for me to bring. If I don't bring one I get really fidgety, get bored and want to leave. Usually I go to the beach with my boyfriend and he loves to stay there for a while. So, to help past the time and not annoy him, I need to pack a book. The book I was reading this Summer was the Khloe Kardashian, "Strong Looks Better Naked", which I highly recommend.

4. Earphones
Again a must! Once I get too bored of the book I'm reading, I am looking for something else to occupy me! I love listening to music while on the beach. However, I don't like disturbing others beach day, so I opt for earphones. Something about listening to music on the beach just makes you feel so happy and amazing!!

5.  Sunglasses
Hello. I need to talk about this. Sunglasses. Are. A. Must. Why you might ask? When tanning on my back my eyes get super sore from the sun, so UV protected glasses are a must for me. Usually I wear my glasses all the time on the beach to protect my eyes and when tanning it is sunglasses + a top/shirt on top to protect my eyes. I am always about protection especially with my eyes.

6. Water
Being on the beach for hours can really dehydrate you. I like to bring a 1-litre water with me to sip on and keep hydrated. I also like to drink a whole other bottle when I get home just to be extra safe!

7. Fruit
Fruit is a essential. There is nothing better than Summer fruits on the beach. Mangoes, Watermelon, Oranges, Grapes and Apples are my favourites. 

8. Cover-Ups
Just to be a little more safe I always like to bring a cover-up. Whether that is a casual tee or a beach dress, I like to have that option to cover and protect my skin if I'm at the beach for a long period of time. 

9. GoPro
I am obsessed with making videos. If there is any opportunity to make a cool video or get a cool photo, my GoPro is onto it. If you are always at the beach or travelling, I highly recommend GoPro's for that reason.

10. Snorkel
My boyfriend and I love snorkelling, we could do it 24/7 if it was possible. I've always snorkelled with my family on holidays and I think that is where I got obsessed with it. I love seeing fish and other creatures and using my GoPro to record videos. I think there is so much peace in the ocean life. I love it. New Year Comes New Resolutions ... | Shann0nRenae


Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog!!

I hope you all had an amazing New Year and Happy 2017!! Hopefully your new year has started swell..

I wanted to come online to share my New Years resolutions and goals with you all, as I have had some time to contemplate what I want to focus on in 2017.

RESOLUTIONS: 
I chose some resolutions that I actually think I might be able to stick with throughout the year, which also had to be realistic, lets be honest (otherwise they never get done)
> Make more healthier meals and choices
> Focus on my career and further skills that I need to achieve higher
> Clean up more, detox my living space


GOALS:
Goals also had to be able to be achievable and I only came up with 3 so I could really focus on them. I feel like if you make too many goals or even resolutions you never really get to finish or complete them..
> Save as much money as I can
> Rent a house
> Read more books

Christmas Gift Guide 2016 | Shann0n Renae



Hello everyone, 

It's that time of year again... Christmas!! Christmas is my favourite time of the year, but it can get really confusing with what to gift everyone!!

So, I've designed a list that may and hopefully inspire and help you with what to buy your loved ones this year!


Her:
1. Gift sets: Gift sets from places like Mecca and Sephora will really satisfy the makeup lovers. There are so many from brands like Too Faced, Benefit and Tarte for example. You can even find some mini gift sets if you don't want to splurge too much money.
2. Organiser: An organiser or diary for 2017 is the perfect gift as the year winds up and we begin another one! There are so many diaries to choose from. I know Kmart have some luxury looking ones for really cheap or you can get a more expensive and nicer one, the choice is really yours! Another idea is a fitness organizer or weekly planner, I really like these because it can help people be organised and motivated.
3. Polaroid Camera: Polaroid cameras are great, I've wanted to get my hands on one for a really long time. I also love how they come is so many colours, so that you can personally choose a colour specifically for that special someone. Another great thing about Polaroids is that they can capture memories to keep.
4. Fluffy Slides: These damn fluffy slides. These slides are everywhere and are such a trend at the moment. I LOVE AND NEED. 
5. Calvin Klein Set: Something that I am obssessed with is my Calvin Klein set. They literally have the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn ever. If you're stuck with ideas, a set from CK would be the way to go. 


Him:
1. Go Pro: If you have a bit more money to spend on him this Christmas get him a GoPro. GoPro's are seriously so great for anyone and can be used for anything. It's definitely on my list.
2. Watch: A special watch for someone is always a great idea. And, they also price differently, depending on what brand or style you want to get. They are also such a practical gift and, of course your boy will love it.
3. Branded Underwear sets/socks: Boys love this stuff! A really nice set or underwear or socks like Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein, can make him feel super special. Boys don't really splurge on big brands for underwear or socks, so this would be a great present idea.
4. UE boom: Portable Speakers are also really handy to have. UE Boom is the brand I recommend to everyone. They are so easy to transport and have great sound quality and battery power. UE Boom also have 2 different styles that you can look into depending on your price range.
5. Pen: If you want to get your loved one something a bit more special, a really nice pen is the way to go. Hugo Boss have some really nice ones, and I'm sure there are many more brands that can fit into your price range. Pens are always handy and can be a bit more special to use one that has been gifted.


Unisex:
1. Fitbit: Fitbits are great for everyone. Especially if they are interested with becoming fit for the new year. There are also so many styles and colours for everyone and one that could possibly fit the budget. I got my mum one last year and she loved it.
2. Suitcase: Suitcases are great if you are heading off on holidays soon. Such a great idea to buy your loved one a new suitcase and maybe even fill it with a few travel essentials!!
3. Headphones: Headphones are always a great idea... Enough said.
4. Fragrances: There are some great fragrances out there, even some unisex ones like Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 or CK2.
5. Portable Charger: Super great for those people who are always on the go. Portable chargers are always good for those tech geeks or busy workers. 


Handmade:
1. Coupon book: Always super cute if you are on a budget. This is also great if you often get bored with your partner, just pull out the book and use a coupon!! 
2. DIY Photo Calender - I think this is such a cute idea to give someone special in your life. You could even do this with all your gifts! It's also a great idea for a last minute gift!! Here's one that I absolutely adored -  http://indiecrafts.craftgossip.com/2016/01/04/diy-instax-photo-calendar/
3. Bath Bombs: Believe it or not, bath bombs are actually super easy to make. There are so many recipes on Pinterest which will help you out with creating your own!!
4. Dream Catchers: Such a gorgeous and personal gift for your friends. You can also make it really personal and special for them. It is also a really great gift idea if you have forgotten a present and need to get one ASAP, without it costing too much.
5. Coffee Scrubs: AMAZING GIFT IDEA. It can also be used for anyone. Again there are so many recipes for this and if you make a big batch and just package them beautifully, it can look like you spent loads of money and time for those special people. Also really great as a last-minute gift which isn't too expensive.


So, there is a few ideas for gifts that you can get for your loved ones.

Wearable Dark Lip & Ariana Grande Mac Lipstick?! | Shann0nRenaee

 Hello and welcome back!

So recently, I've bought so many new makeup products and I decided to create a look with some of the newbies and oldies.

I really wanted this look to have the focus of the dark lip but also a look you could wear for any occasion. Now that I think about it, it would be perfect for fall.

 I went for quite a neutral but shimmery eye look that you could custom to how matte or shimmery or even how much dimension you want your eyes to have! I prefer my eye brows quite natural so, I just ran a bit of gel through them.

I also added quite a bit of highlight just for those of you who looooovveeee highlight like me!

If I was going out I would add false eyelashes (Kara eyelashes in 415 are my favourites ever) but with this mascara I didn't really think it was needed.

This is quite a grungy look but it's also quite glowy. Obviously you don't need to have a dark plum lippy and of course it doesn't have to be matte either. I tend to go for more darker shade lipsticks just due to my skin tone as I've found that brighter lipsticks just look a bit silly on me.

I think this would be such a nice look with a white or black dress. As the lips give a bit of a pop of colour without it being too much.

 I know some of you won't celebrate Valentine's day (or in other words Singles Awareness Day) ! But some of you may be looking for some inspiration of what to buy for your man, some of these can also be used for girls too!!

As some of you may be on a budget, I decided to include 5 that were a reasonable price range and 5 that are more higher priced if you really want to spoil that special man/ woman in your life. If you also wanted too you could also mix a few of these to make a little gift basket for them

1. Chocolates ♥︎ Of course this is one of the most basic gifts for Valentine's Day, you can never go wrong with a bit of choccy! You can even look at places to get it personalised if you want!! If you're on a health kick or just don't want to buy chocolate go for a favourite food of your lover's. I think this is so good to add to any present just for a little extra.

2. DVD's ♥︎ Buy a few DVD's that your partner and you have been dying to see and that aren't available on good ole' Netflix. Make a night out of it and add a few sweets in the gift too for a movie night with him or her!

3. 6 pack of favourite beer ♥︎ I saw this idea on Pinterest and I thought it was so cute!!! What you do is, buy a pack of their favourite alcohol or drinks and on each bottle write a reason you love this person! This makes the gift seem a little more personalised and anyone would love the thoughts on each bottle. (Also, a good gift so that the person doesn't have to buy drinks next time they are going out ahaha)


4. Lush Products ♥︎ Lush is a winner with almost everyone. I know my boyfriend loves showers and keeping himself clean so why not spoil him with something he wouldn't usually buy for himself. I know especially for Valentine's day Lush make scents such as "Prince Charming" which I think is just too sweet.

5. Perfume ♥︎ Perfume scents are great for either guys or girls! And there are so many scents in varying price ranges which makes it a cute little gift to add or to make it the main present! I loovee getting perfumes it's the best!

6. Peter Alexander PJ's ♥︎ Again, another gift for girls or guys! Get them something comfy for bed , I love Peter Alexander , seriously the best brand and comfiest PJ's. If you don't want to spend so much just get any cute PJ's for them. (You could even get matching sets!)



7. Charging Case ♥︎ How many times has your phone died when you needed it the most. This is a great gift for anyone on any occasion! I'm always at festivals with my boyfriend and he's always struggling keeping his phone alive, so I think it's perfect!


8. Experience ♥︎ If you literally have no clue what to get your partner this Valentine's Day get them something to do! Like the outdoor movies, the zoo, skydiving as well, or just a dinner! You could even make it cuter instead of paying double the price on Valentine's Day make a little coupon for them to use whenever they like.

9. Underwear ♥︎ Get them some expensive underwear! Something again most people wouldn't buy themselves. I think this is perfect because you can spend a bit of cash on something with a brand , and that they would really appreciate.



10. Watch ♥︎ A watch is perfect if you really want to spoil that loved one in your life. Good brands for girls could be Guess,  Mimco or even Michael Kors. For men brands such as Daniel Wellington, Tommy Hilfiger or Emporio Armani.
