10 Last Minute Valentine's Day Date Ideas ♥︎ | Shann0nRenae

 Hello Lovelies and Welcome back!

With Valentine's Day literally a few days away from us, I decided to write a post on a few ideas that you could do if you've left the date planning to the last minute and can't get a booking anywhere!
I thought I'd start off with the most basic ones that many people may call 'cliche'. But I'm sure if you've left it until the last minute any type of date will do!

Netflix and Chill ♥︎ This is a date many couples will choose this Valentine's day. You can make it a little bit more special by buying each other a gift, getting cuddly and cosy without the stress of getting dressed up to go anywhere. This is such an easy date because you could even order take out and get it delivered or go pick it up! (Movie Marathon!!!)

Beach Picnic ♥︎ I think this is the sweetest thing ever. Going down to the beach to watch the sunset or even going on a walk along the beach before you set up the picnic. Just making sure you really spend time with that person! This is so easy and it won't cost a fortune! Just take out or even a pre made meal is sure to tickle your loved one fancy! This date is nice and relaxed and you don't even need to get each other gifts if you don't want to! (This could even be a breakfast on the beach watching the sunrise).

Home Made Meal & Service ♥︎  This one is for all the boys out there (this is obviously not limited to boys though)! Tell your lady to come over dressed nice and make her a meal, give her some wine, be at her service! Really spoil this gal. Even surprise her by getting her a small gift that's hidden somewhere among all the food.

Hike ♥︎ If you are quite a sporty couple go out on a hike or a walk. This is so fun because you get to exercise without even feeling bored, like you would at the gym. Find a nice hiking route or just any route around the city or the water. You could even go to lunch afterwards or just hang out.

A Cooking Lesson ♥︎ Give your lover a cooking lesson. Have a bit of fun. And if that means getting messy in the kitchen, then so be it. All you would need is ingredients for a meal or dessert you're making, but this is one of the easiest ways to make memories and get your fiancee smiling and having fun.

Take Your Lover Shopping ♥︎ If you haven't brought your date anything and you know you need to, take them shopping! Set a limit equal to their gift to you or a bit higher and let them choose what they want. You could make a day out of it by going to one store then getting lunch then going to another. This is so easy and if it's a girl, it will be so easy to spend hours with her ahaha.

Do An Activity They Enjoy ♥︎ This is such a cool idea because it shows the other person in your relationship, things that you do in your spare time. Take her to the golf course if thats what you like and then go have a massage if that is what she enjoys. The options are endless.

Rent a Hotel Room In Your Hometown ♥︎ I love this idea because it's like you are travelling but without going anywhere. Rent a hotel room, go out for a day sightseeing, pretend you are tourists! I know my own boyfriend lives in our hometown and has hardly seen any places so I'm always taking him there.

Plan A Holiday ♥︎ Tell her she needs to take so much time off work (whatever dates and however long you are planning to travel for). Then surprise her with a ticket to the place you are taking them to that you know they've wanted to go to forever! I think this is such a cool idea, because then you get to spend time with that person and you can make a "Valentine's Day" over in that place. (This also doesn't need to be a long holiday it could just be a few days out of town or whatever.)

Group Date ♥︎ This is perfect for new couples or couples who don't really celebrate the day but want to do something. I was thinking rounding up the gang together going for a picnic , having a meal at someone's house or even going out clubbing ! I love this idea because then you are spending time with everyone you love!!!

4 Valentine's Day Outfits ♥︎ | Shann0nRenae

Hello beauties,

I thought I'd do another Valentine's post as I had such an amazing response on the last post I did! This time though, focusing on outfit ideas. I know how hard it can be to try and work an outfit together , so I decided to use basic clothes or similar that many of you may have in your closet.

I've included 4 different possible outfit ideas, depending on what you're doing that day and how dressy you'd like to be!

1 ♥︎ This outfit is a great one for all you teens out there! If you've got a little day date with a beautiful boy this would be perfect!

The pink crop sweater is so cute and as Valentine's is always about the pinks and reds I decided to coordinate this in! The pink also makes it feel a bit more flirty.

I love the white high waisted shorts. I need to go and buy some myself! I love how the white just makes it look a bit more softer than adding a dark harsh colour!

Then I just added a few little things that could be added to this date and what types of shades you could do with your makeup.

2 ♥︎ This one is made for my girls on the go! If your Valentine's is going to be hectic, this is the perfect outfit to go to meetings, social events and dates in.

I added the coat just for the cooler countries but you could work this without the coat too. This outfit is so cool and casual but also looks put together.

I love the black, white and pink - which just makes the look a bit more Valentinesy (not a word).

It's definitely an easy outfit to put together and the pieces can be worn again in a total other outfit.

3 ♥︎ This is obviously the most dressy outfit of the lot! This is a beautiful option for a fancy dinner or something a bit more special! I love this because of how classy it is and it just would look amazing on anyone!

If you wanted to opt for a brighter look than you could easily change the colours on the clothing. The shoes of course, don't have to be heels, but I think it just looks a bit more feminine and pretty.

And if you live in a cooler climate it would be so easy just to add a jacket or coat over! and voilà!

4 ♥︎ This is a perfect outfit for lazing at home! I'm quite aware that not all of you are going to be hanging with a loved one on a date. And you should embrace giving yourself a lil love too!

This outfit is perfect for chucking on a face mask after a bath, watching movies on Netflix, checking social medias and just relaxing and cuddling up. (I know a few of you are from cooler places in the world , Australia girls opt for something a bit lighter because of the 40 degree weather lately!!)

You can use this outfit alone or with your girlfriends! (even with your boyfriend if you guys aren't bothered with the whole v day thing).

 I know some of you won't celebrate Valentine's day (or in other words Singles Awareness Day) ! But some of you may be looking for some inspiration of what to buy for your man, some of these can also be used for girls too!!

As some of you may be on a budget, I decided to include 5 that were a reasonable price range and 5 that are more higher priced if you really want to spoil that special man/ woman in your life. If you also wanted too you could also mix a few of these to make a little gift basket for them

1. Chocolates ♥︎ Of course this is one of the most basic gifts for Valentine's Day, you can never go wrong with a bit of choccy! You can even look at places to get it personalised if you want!! If you're on a health kick or just don't want to buy chocolate go for a favourite food of your lover's. I think this is so good to add to any present just for a little extra.

2. DVD's ♥︎ Buy a few DVD's that your partner and you have been dying to see and that aren't available on good ole' Netflix. Make a night out of it and add a few sweets in the gift too for a movie night with him or her!

3. 6 pack of favourite beer ♥︎ I saw this idea on Pinterest and I thought it was so cute!!! What you do is, buy a pack of their favourite alcohol or drinks and on each bottle write a reason you love this person! This makes the gift seem a little more personalised and anyone would love the thoughts on each bottle. (Also, a good gift so that the person doesn't have to buy drinks next time they are going out ahaha)


4. Lush Products ♥︎ Lush is a winner with almost everyone. I know my boyfriend loves showers and keeping himself clean so why not spoil him with something he wouldn't usually buy for himself. I know especially for Valentine's day Lush make scents such as "Prince Charming" which I think is just too sweet.

5. Perfume ♥︎ Perfume scents are great for either guys or girls! And there are so many scents in varying price ranges which makes it a cute little gift to add or to make it the main present! I loovee getting perfumes it's the best!

6. Peter Alexander PJ's ♥︎ Again, another gift for girls or guys! Get them something comfy for bed , I love Peter Alexander , seriously the best brand and comfiest PJ's. If you don't want to spend so much just get any cute PJ's for them. (You could even get matching sets!)



7. Charging Case ♥︎ How many times has your phone died when you needed it the most. This is a great gift for anyone on any occasion! I'm always at festivals with my boyfriend and he's always struggling keeping his phone alive, so I think it's perfect!


8. Experience ♥︎ If you literally have no clue what to get your partner this Valentine's Day get them something to do! Like the outdoor movies, the zoo, skydiving as well, or just a dinner! You could even make it cuter instead of paying double the price on Valentine's Day make a little coupon for them to use whenever they like.

9. Underwear ♥︎ Get them some expensive underwear! Something again most people wouldn't buy themselves. I think this is perfect because you can spend a bit of cash on something with a brand , and that they would really appreciate.



10. Watch ♥︎ A watch is perfect if you really want to spoil that loved one in your life. Good brands for girls could be Guess,  Mimco or even Michael Kors. For men brands such as Daniel Wellington, Tommy Hilfiger or Emporio Armani.
