Beach Essentials ☼ | Shann0nRenae X Tripping.com

Hi everyone! Long time no blog!

For this blog, I got the opportunity to team up with Tripping.com. Tripping.com is a super awesome site which helps you to find cheap holiday rentals in places like Florida. Recently I've been dying to go on a holiday, and seeing this site made me realise that they can save you so much cash, which can be used for spending money 😉. 

Tripping.com got me thinking what my essentials are to bring to the beach or on a tropical holiday. 

1. Sunscreen / Tanning Lotion

The amount of times that I have gotten extremely sunburnt at the beach is getting to be ridiculous. I never forget it now. Please make sure that you pack sunscreen or tanning lotion as, I can't stress enough how much you will be in pain for the next few weeks and, of course we want to avoid skin cancers. I usually use SPF 50+ just to be that extra bit covered and tend to lean towards waterproof sunscreen. Stay safe! 

2. Some Cute Bathers

Of course after the health and skin safety, I go straight towards what cute bathers I should wear. My go-to is from Seafolly Australia which you can see to the left on Gigi Hadid. Obsessed.

3. Book

A book is necessary for me to bring. If I don't bring one I get really fidgety, get bored and want to leave. Usually I go to the beach with my boyfriend and he loves to stay there for a while. So, to help past the time and not annoy him, I need to pack a book. The book I was reading this Summer was the Khloe Kardashian, "Strong Looks Better Naked", which I highly recommend.

4. Earphones

Again a must! Once I get too bored of the book I'm reading, I am looking for something else to occupy me! I love listening to music while on the beach. However, I don't like disturbing others beach day, so I opt for earphones. Something about listening to music on the beach just makes you feel so happy and amazing!!

5.  Sunglasses

Hello. I need to talk about this. Sunglasses. Are. A. Must. Why you might ask? When tanning on my back my eyes get super sore from the sun, so UV protected glasses are a must for me. Usually I wear my glasses all the time on the beach to protect my eyes and when tanning it is sunglasses + a top/shirt on top to protect my eyes. I am always about protection especially with my eyes.

6. Water

Being on the beach for hours can really dehydrate you. I like to bring a 1-litre water with me to sip on and keep hydrated. I also like to drink a whole other bottle when I get home just to be extra safe!

7. Fruit

Fruit is a essential. There is nothing better than Summer fruits on the beach. Mangoes, Watermelon, Oranges, Grapes and Apples are my favourites. 

8. Cover-Ups

Just to be a little more safe I always like to bring a cover-up. Whether that is a casual tee or a beach dress, I like to have that option to cover and protect my skin if I'm at the beach for a long period of time. 

9. GoPro

I am obsessed with making videos. If there is any opportunity to make a cool video or get a cool photo, my GoPro is onto it. If you are always at the beach or travelling, I highly recommend GoPro's for that reason.

10. Snorkel

My boyfriend and I love snorkelling, we could do it 24/7 if it was possible. I've always snorkelled with my family on holidays and I think that is where I got obsessed with it. I love seeing fish and other creatures and using my GoPro to record videos. I think there is so much peace in the ocean life. I love it. 15 Minute Quick & Easy Booty Workout | Shann0nRenae

Hi there everyone, 

I just wanted to share one of my favourite circuits to complete during my weekly workout routines. This workout is based on working those bum muscles. This circuit is perfect for on-the-go mums or even people who have limited workout time, this is super easy to be squeezed in!!

Enjoy!! 

Warm-Up: 50 skips } x 2, 100 easy jog

Bum Workout: 

50x skips

10x In & Out Squats

50x High Knees

10x Donkey kicks - 90 degree angle on the legs

10x Straight Donkey Kicks

Approx. 100m of running

{Whole Bum Workout x 3}

Cool Down: Approx. 500m as- 200 running, 300 walking

New Year Comes New Resolutions ... | Shann0nRenae

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog!!

I hope you all had an amazing New Year and Happy 2017!! Hopefully your new year has started swell..

I wanted to come online to share my New Years resolutions and goals with you all, as I have had some time to contemplate what I want to focus on in 2017.

RESOLUTIONS: 

I chose some resolutions that I actually think I might be able to stick with throughout the year, which also had to be realistic, lets be honest (otherwise they never get done)

> Make more healthier meals and choices

> Focus on my career and further skills that I need to achieve higher

> Clean up more, detox my living space

GOALS:
Goals also had to be able to be achievable and I only came up with 3 so I could really focus on them. I feel like if you make too many goals or even resolutions you never really get to finish or complete them..

> Save as much money as I can

> Rent a house

> Read more books

Hello beauties!!

I've been wanting to touch on the latest choker and necktie trend but, I haven't had any time to get around to it!! SO, in collaboration with TajaAus, I am proud to bring you this post.

I swear everyone and their mother have been wearing chokers and neckties recently, and it has become a huge trend in fashion.

Recently, Perth girls created the brand @TajaAus where they started their own necktie and choker brand.

I love TajaAus because, their chokers and neckties are super affordable, they are handmade, Australian owned and are unique. The other bonus with TajaAus is that the neck ties and chokers are almost customisable, with ranging colours and options of the detailing in silver/gold, making it super easy for you to purchase exactly what you want.

I love these chokers and neckties and have been wearing them so much. They are so comfy and at the price they are listed as, definitely a must have fashion statement.

Sexy Summery Lingerie Look & Essentials | Shann0nRenae x Adore Me

Hello all and welcome back to my blog,

I was recently contacted by Adore Me to put my spin on a Sexy Summer Lingerie Look and take part in their latest project #sexysummerylingerie. It got me thinking about what makes me feel sexy and confident in the Summertime. So, I decided to also add in some essentials that would match perfectly to this look.

As we are in the complete opposite to Summer in Australia, I found it pretty hard to recollect what summery look I should go for… For this look, I decided base it around the Lavender Purple colour of this bra. For me personally, I’m not too keen on much colour. Hence why especially in summer this was a good decision as it can be worn under any coloured clothes to make you have an extra boost of confidence. 

For me feeling sexy, is looking classy. I love any lace on bras and I feel that lace just adds a sense of sexiness and classiness to a bra too. This bra is quite cute with polka dots which makes the bra feel more stylish, as who doesn’t love a few polka dots?? Also head to this page to check out Adore Me'sBras and Panties page.

I love the idea of pearls, sparkles, heels, makeup and a nice fresh scent to keep me feeling good. Wearing these things boost my self esteem immediately and make me feel super elegant.

Pumps are my favourite style of heel to ever wear. I wore these silver ones from Zu, last year to my ball and I am forever trying to find another special occasion to wear them. I love the glitz and classy feel to these and they made me feel super sexy that night. Whenever I need to wear any sort of heel in the Summertime, these are always my go-to style.

I looooveee pearls!! Pearls can enhance and chic-up any outfit. I love wearing pearls within the summertime because they are white, light weight and go with any outfit.

Makeup is one of my most favourite things in the world. I live for it. And I obviously couldn’t do a flat lay without a piece of makeup in it!! It makes me so much more confident! I decided to add this Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara because it is waterproof and super duper long lasting (believe me). Obviously mostly in Summer you need/want waterproof mascara because it’s super hot and you’ll either be sweating or jumping in the pool later. So therefore, it’s and essential.

Scents are the most important thing to me in Summer. I want to be smelling good all the time (especially in Summer) and so, I had to include one of my most recent purchases, Gucci Guilty. I feel like this scent is quite mature and different to all the sweeter scents I usually lean towards. Usually in Summer, I am wearing sweet and fruity scents but if I want to feel sexy, I will lean towards a more mature scent like this one.

Last thing, is a notebook. In Summer especially, I feel way more active and I am always coming up with heaps of ideas. I am always carrying a notebook in my bags because I will think of things in the most random moments aha. I love this one because I need to have a little sparkle somewhere to make me feel sexy and confident.

Today I wanted to share my favourite products EVER with you all! I've included some beauty products and just miscellaneous products too! I'm so excited for you all to see what products I've been loving for so long, hope you enjoy!!


Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub ‣ This has been one of my favourite products for years! I've been through so many of these containers it's ridiculous. I love this products because it is such a good exfoliant for the face and body. I usually use this once a week to get rid of all the dead skin on my face area in particular. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and fresh afterwards! Highly recommend this one!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub ‣ I am obsessed with this product! Most people surely would've heard about this product as it's probably one of the most talked about products from Lush. I use this once a week or before a major event just to make sure those lips are looking luscious. This basically works as an exfoliant for your lips.

Bondi Sands Tan Foam in Dark ‣ When am I not talking about this product! This is my favourite tanning product ever. I love the smooth application of this product, which it doesn't leave you looking streaky and how it looks afterwards, the colour is so natural so it doesn't leave you orange!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (Matte + Poreless) in 220 ‣ I love this product! I was actually recommended this by one of my good friends, Taylor. I have quite an oily face and I have quite a few pores. I find with this product that my pores disappear and I'm not having to powder my face constantly throughout the day to keep it looking matte. I love how this products works with my skin!

Kara Eyelashes in S4, 415 ‣  Omg. These eyelashes are life. I'm obsessed. They are super duper cheap too! I love how these are such quality for the price and they look amazing. The 415 are amazing, I love these for festivals and events where you want your eyelashes looking on fleek. The S4 are a great lash for everyday use, I love using these for day events where you want a little bit of lash but not too much.

White Mimco Purse ‣ I got this a few years ago for my birthday and I've used it ever since. I love white so it goes perfectly with every outfit. I love just chucking it in a bag or using it on it's own. I don't know how but it fits so many things for such a little purse! This is perfect for clubbing or everyday use. I am never without it!

Belt from Princess Polly ‣ I love this belt! This belt is the best to chuck on an outfit to spice it up! And it was a pretty reasonable price too for such good quality! I am forever wearing this belt.

White Pumps ‣ Not going to lie, the main reason I got these is because Ariana Grande was rocking them all last year. But I've grown to absolutely love them! They are so comfy and make any outfit look so classy. These are probably my most worn heel out of my collection.

Mac Velvet Teddy ‣ Who doesn't love this lipstick. This is Mac's most popular product ever since Kylie Jenner was seen wearing it.

Mac Ariana Grande Viva Glam Lipstick ‣ This is quite a recent purchase for me but I had another lipstick in a similar shade for Sportsgirl - Runaway which I used to wear constantly but it is unfortunetly not being restocked ever. But because the Ariana Grande one is so similar I decided to add this in!

Mac Lipliner Boldly Bare ‣ I love this lip liner! A lot of people tend to lean towards Spice or Whirl but I prefer this one. It is quite a natural shade for my lip colour and it look so natural on. I love wearing this on it's own sometimes just because it's a beautiful shade!

Keeping Up With The Kardashians ‣ This is undoubtably my favourite TV show in the world. I love the Kardashians of course and so do many other people! I think they are amazing, and any opinions on them can remain your own. But I love them!

12 Summer Essentials ☀︎ | Shann0nRenae

Hello lovelies,

Aside from air con and cool drinks allowing me to survive another ridiculous Perth summer, I've decided to tell you about a few essentials of mine for the summertime. There's a few beauty products and clothing items so enjoy!

 Starting out with the beauty and makeup essentials!

I obviously HAD to include deodorant. This is my favourite deodorant in the whole wide world, and I am yet to find anything better than this! This is the Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea Scented deodorant. I love this because it is such a fresh scent and it almost moisturises your armpits. The amount of bottles I've been through this is ridiculous.

Another favourite of mine this month is face masks. I'm really not too sure how I randomly got into face masks again but I did! I think these are perfect for the summer because they cool your face down and they help your skin while you're at it! This face mask is just a $3 one from Kmart , which work surprisingly well. I also use another one that is from Coles called the Freeman Facial Avocado & Oatmeal Clay mask but of course you could make one yourself for fun too!

Another thing I literally cannot live without is Chapstick! I honestly don't know why my lips are always so chapped in summer but I am always carrying 100 chapsticks during this time of year especially! The one I have is just the original Chapstick which I picked up from Coles.

 A makeup item I have been reaching for all summer is this primer! My friend Taylor actually got me this for Christmas so I'm guessing you can get this from Priceline?? But the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Primer is the best, this makes my makeup stay on all day without it drooping down my face!

Keeping on the topic of makeup my favourite palette in the last few weeks has been this Chi Chi Sunkissed Palette which is available from Myer. Taylor actually got this again for me, cause I was complaining about not having enough orangey tones in my eyeshadow collection. I love these colours cause they easy to blend and can give you a glowy finish if you use the right colours!

Since December, I have literally been wearing the same sunglasses until now! These are my favourite sunglasses ever. Not going to lie, these were an impulse buy but I'm so happy I brought them! These are the Quay China Doll Sunglasses which I brought from White Fox Boutique. These are great because they go with almost every outfit ever!

The perfume I have been wearing lately is the Zara Women Fruity perfume. My boyfriend got me this for my birthday along with another Zara perfume which I've already finished! This is an amazing perfume for summer because it's such a lightweight perfume and it's not too strong!

Now the clothing items!

Firstly, the things I've used most are sports crop tops. Holy moly, I've been using these just to sleep in because of how hot the Perth nights have been! They make me not wake up sweating as much as I would be wearing a proper shirt or PJ's. I just got these 2 from Kmart (P.S these aren't the only 2 I own).

Who could forget bathers for summer? I recently bought these Triangl bathers. I love how reliable Triangl bathers are, they are well worth the money. And how cute are the new designs?? I got these ones because they are super girly and I loveee them!

Oh my goodness! One thing I've been wearing non stop in the summer are denim skirts. This white one is my favourite one ever which I bought from White Fox Boutique and I am in love! I love how easy these are to just chuck on but they look so put together.

This leads me to my next clothing item which is pretty self explanatory in summer. This is crop tops. These are the best type of top in summer.
The one in this picture is from Cotton On. Crop tops are amazing because they are so easy to be put together to be dressed up or can even be dressed down.

The last item I have are these shoes! UGH. I love these. These sandals are from rubi shoes and I think they were about $20. I was so happy to get these on Christmas because I didn't have any sandals like this in my shoe collection. I had to get white of course because it's my favourite colour ever but these were such a buy and I've already got my moneys worth in these shoes!
